Tara Gottselig first got involved with the Roots of Empathy program last year when it came to Lindale School that she teaches at.

At the time, she was pregnant with her third child and connected with the local program point person, Daycee Richardson.

“It was awesome at our school, so I wanted to see the other side of it,” said Gottselig.

When she gave birth to her son, Knox, she jumped at the chance to be a teacher in the program.
