The next game Darian Durant plays in the CFL, he will not be a Saskatchewan Roughrider.
Friday morning, the rights to the Riders’ veteran quarterback were
traded to the Montreal Alouettes. In exchange, the Riders picked up a
fourth-round selection, 32nd overall, in the 2017 CFL draft and a conditional second-round pick in the 2018 draft.
“We feel that we got a good, fair deal,” said Riders’ head coach and general manager Chris Jones.
