Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Fewer permits, much higher value in April building permits

There were fewer permits valued at almost 10 times higher in April 2014 compared to April 2013.

The city issued 16 building permits last month valued at $51.45 million. In April 2013, the city issued 23 permits worth $5.46 million.

Last month’s permits included one permit valued at $49 million for the new hospital. There was one permit for an alteration, repair or addition to a restaurant worth $114,000.
