Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Third annual Peacock Polar Bear Run set for Sunday

Organizers hope at least 102 people will run to help find a cure for cancer.

 Peacock Collegiate’s third annual Polar Bear Run will take place on Sunday at noon at the oval in Wakamow Valley with proceeds going to the Terry Fox Foundation. The five-kilometer run or walk will be followed by hotdogs and hot chocolate.

 “It’s just kind of a really fun hour, hour and a half of your life on Sunday and really, it’s a great way to make a difference and show you care,” said co-organizer Renee Verge.
