Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Many flavours for upgrading Wakamow facilities

On Thursday, supporters of Wakamow Valley will enjoy tasting wine and specialty foods — all to raise money for new washrooms.

The 10th annual Festival of Flavours will take place on Thursday at the Heritage Inn, 6-10 p.m., and will feature a number of sampling stations. All proceeds will support upgrading washrooms in Wakamow Valley that will cost $50,000.

“We know it’s not as sexy or as cool as some of the other items we’ve done in the past, but it’s totally essential for the park. Last year, our focus was on an accessible playground,” said Crystal Froese, director of community relations for Wakamow Valley.
