Saskatoon francophone artist Alexis Normand remembers the first time she
learned to play guitar in high school.
“When I first
learned how to play guitar, I learned by using my Dad’s Beatles book and his
guitar. My first song was Yellow Submarine,” she said. “By the time I finished
learning all the songs in the book, I started writing my own and it kind of
evolved from there.”
