Moose Jaw Times-Herald: CUPE and city reach new agreement

After working with no contract since Jan. 1, 2012, the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 9 and the City of Moose Jaw has reached an agreement.

“It’s a good contract for both sides. It’s a wage increase that I think is palpable for both the membership and for the city,” said Ryan Nelson, CUPE Local 9 president.
